It's been way too long since I took any good-quality photos of my boy Henry. I have been keeping my camera close at hand the past few weeks, documenting the homecoming and progress of my newly adopted 2nd African Grey, a special needs rescue I named Friday. And that has spurred me to take many photos, almost daily, of Henry's antics as well.

As is common for me, I find personal artistic satisfaction in shooting closeups and semi-abstract compositions alongside more traditional portraits, and in exploring various possibilities of cropping, editing, and color vs b/w for many of the photos, even where some of the variations are quite subtle in their differences.
