The New Girls

My friend and client Adrian moved to a new apartment where he was unable to keep any of his birds except for his quiet Senegal parrot. So I have adopted Casper the albino cockatiel and Gordie the Indian Ringneck parakeet.

The day I got the new birds, I had to take some photos to show them to everyone. So I hopped into the new photo studio, used a boom stand as a perch, and played with my new softboxes and some lighting stuff. Experiments in highkey with the pure white Casper, and variations on lighting Gordie against the white backdrop.
