Final Presentation Images

The final files were prepared in accordance with Phil's specifications set out prior to the shoot, for black-and-white, landscape-orientation images.

To maintain full resolution, shooting was done in portrait (vertical) format with the model filling the majority of the frame. In post-processing, final selected images were converted to landscape format, maintaining a 2:3 aspect ratio, with the model filling about 1/3 of the image, and the remaining 2/3 of the space left open for text placement.

To accomplish this, additional width was added at the right or left edge (as requested) of each image. The newly added 2/3 of the "canvas" was then tone-blended to appear as a smooth extension of the original background.

Although appearing no different at screen-view size than any landscape-format photo, the resulting finished images are very large files, printable in full resolution at nearly 3' wide.
