Fireflies - b/w

There were a couple of wonderful examples through the day where shafts of sunlight would fall across a section of the forest just so as to set certain features aglow while leaving the surroundings in darkness. These bushes illuminated against the dark background of trees looked to me like fireflies or fairly lights.

The light/dark contrast is still striking, but the scene has an entirely different feeling in black and white. Much more sinister and foreboding, than the warm and beguiling air of invitation in the color image!
