This is Gremlin's pentagram in the back parking lot of the studio. Frenzy (featured in the art model gallery on this site)
brought the red candles over for a shoot we were planning. He lit them on the pentagram as a test of the color and light,
and I took a few shots of the scene in long exposure, just by the light of the candles. The effect came out really nice,
showing the circular halo thrown by each candle when no other light obstructs the shadows.
I always think of Gremlin when there are candles lit on the pentagram. The night he and I finished laying out and painting
the outline of it, we lit candles at the 5 points and stood outside watching the light for a while together. Then the next time
it was lit was at his memorial. The shoot we were planning didn't have anything to do with Gremlin's memorial, but the
candles on the pentagram still make me think of him, and like many other reminders, always will.
