Wood Wall

Shooting across the wall rather than straight at it, to emphasize depth and dimension,
the "front to back" illusion in the two-dimensional photograph.
Wood Wall 2

The same framed wall, shot from the opposite angle.
The diagonal crossbeam really shows the eye the front to back movement into the image.
Room with Several Views

The angles, spaces, and shadows of the exposed wall frame and doorway show a far greater sense of perspective and depth than just shooting from inside of a room.
It's the addition of the fallen roof section angling down across the doorway that really captured my interest in this structure though.

The lovely tree-lined pathway where we set a nice series of nudes amongst the shadows of the branches.
Dappled Cove
Date: 07/04/2008
This is actually a curved pathway though a section of trees.
Framed this way though, you can't quite see the opening on the other side, so it appears as a lovely little shady cove.
The dappled shadows create a sense of "reflection" of the trees onto the ground, almost as if they were hanging over water.

A tipped-over recliner out in the bushes between the buildings at an abandoned business office site.
