I didn't admire this year's Temple on a purely visual level as much as I have in past years, although it was prettier lit up like this at night than viewed in daylight. However the Temple always fulfills its constant purpose no matter its changing appearance from year to year.
The Temple, like the Lady, is another subject that I didn't get to photograph by night as much as I would have liked to. There were some other angles where the red and yellow lights shone from within and behind the curves of the structure in really interesting ways. But I had started with this angle because I loved being able to see the Man off in the distance (at right). I had already done a lot of long-exposure shooting that night, and my camera batteries gave out after just a few shots from this angle. I never got back out to try shooting the structure from its other faces, but I do like these images that I came away with.
I think these were shot at between 10-15 second exposures.
