Learning to Fly
En route from Los Angeles to Denver, and Denver International Airport
August 17, 2010
I've always loved the view of the sky and ground from a plane, but for some reason had never before shot photos in flight. On this trip, coming off an all-nighter and being awake for about 30 hours straight by the time we were in the air, I spent most of the flight shooting the clouds and terrain through my window.
When I landed at DIA, I was still in the headspace of light and composition. During the walk from my gate to the baggage claim and then to meet my parents at the pickup area, I took a few more shots of some of the airport's architecture and internal structures.
