Day before Thanksgiving

I visited Colorado for a short, three-day trip to spend Thanksgiving with my family. I also got to spend a few hours catching up with one of my best friends from high school, with whom I manage to maintain semi-regular contact.

She's a great lover of the outdoors, and while I wouldn't have thought to suggest going hiking up near the mountains of Colorado in November, we were favored with near-record high temperatures for the duration of my stay, and so the moderate weather was lovely for walking.

We kept a relaxed pace, stopping to enjoy scenery, sights, and textures, and I shot photos at my leisure.
